I want to be transparent about where I’m coming from.
I’m a GIS professional and MPH student building my way toward entrepreneurship. The Aggregation Point is a personal venture that I own and maintain. I am also building Groundtruth 911 toward what I hope becomes a real company.
That does not make this a Groundtruth forum.
I will disclose when I am discussing something I built. I will not quietly turn community conversations into a private product roadmap, contact members with sales pitches, or moderate discussions in favor of my own work. The same rules should apply to me that apply to any other person building something in this field.
I am not pretending I have no ambition. I do. I want to build useful things and eventually support myself by doing it. I also believe the cleanest way to get there is to be honest, contribute before asking for anything, and build alongside the people who actually do this work.
The free NENA Schema Converter is my first contribution here. I want people to test it, question it, break it, and help make it more useful. Over time, I hope other people will share their tools, scripts, workflows, and unfinished ideas here too.
This community is part of the work. It is not a disguised sales funnel.
