Scripts, ModelBuilder tools, FME workflows, field-calculation tricks, checklists, spreadsheets, templates, converters, documentation, small utilities, and open betas are all welcome.
This category is for sharing and collaborative testing, not product pitches. Testing participation must be free. It cannot require a sales call or enrollment in marketing. If a tool may later become commercial, say that up front.
A useful post includes:
- What problem it solves
- Its current version and release date
- What it runs in and any dependencies
- What kind of data it expects
- Known limitations
- A direct download or access link
- A license or plain-language statement explaining permitted use
- Where and how to submit feedback
- Whether the tool may become commercial later
Creators retain ownership of what they share. Members retain ownership of their own code, examples, and data. Feedback offered in a testing discussion may inform later versions, but participating does not give anyone permission to reuse private data or another person’s work.
Name your connection to the tool plainly, then let the work and the discussion speak for themselves.
